Finishing & Preparing the Master Plug

Installing Dowel Pin
30. Make a holding block by cutting four inches from a 2x4. With Moto Tool and 1/8th” drill bit; drill hole in center of wood block approximately one inch deep. Fig. 23.
31. With Moto Tool and metal cutting blade; cut three pieces from 1/8th” brass dowel, and one piece three inches long. Use Moto Tool and metal cutting blade to smooth ends of dowels. Fig. 24.
32. Insert dowel pins into Master Plug body as indicated in Fig. 25 With shaping wax and
eye dropper; fill pin holes partially full. Let wax cool.
Align dowel pins to Master Plug body. Fill remaining pin holes with shaping wax. Clean away any over fill with pallet knife. Fig. 25.
