Adjusting the Paasche VL To Spray Primer 
 
1. The Paasche, Model VL & VLS Set Air Brush can easily be adapted to spray heavy, high viscosity liquids such as Gel Coats, and heavy polyester primers. Use the #5 Needle, Needle Valve, and Nozzle from your Paasche, Model VL & VLS Air Brush Set. 
 
2. Needle Position #1, and Fig. 1., Demonstrate the needle, valve, and flow trigger in the closed position. This would be considered the default setting for your air brush prior to adjusting for Gel Coat spray. 
 
3. IMPORTANT. Set the air pressure to the air brush at: 40PSI. 
 
4. Remove the rear portion of the airbrush body. Loosen the needle lock nut. Pull the needle back slightly. Fig. 2. Re-tighten the needle lock nut. 
 
5. To spray a light tack coat; push down on the flow trigger. To spray a heavy coat; push down and pull back on the flow trigger. Fig. 3.
